Alumacraft® Escape 145 Compliance Recall
Dear Alumacraft Escape 145 owner:
Alumacraft Boat Co. is conducting a compliance recall of Escape 145,
Tiller and Side Console models from model years 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018,
2019, 2020, and some 2021.
What is the problem and the correction?
The affected units may not pass all the requirements for the United
States Coast Guard “swamped level flotation” standard. Additional
flotation foam will be added to increase the swamped buoyancy of the
vessel.
What should you do?
Contact your local authorized Alumacraft dealership to schedule an
appointment to have your boat repaired at the expense of Alumacraft Boat
Co. These repairs should take approximately 1.5 hours to complete,
subject to dealer service availability. Please contact your authorized
Alumacraft dealer within the next 30 days to schedule your
appointment.
